Celebrating World Breastfeeding Week

In observance of World Breastfeeding Month, the Rotary Club of Pashupati Kathmandu, in collaboration with the HPN Clinic, Suryabinyak, organized an Awareness and Training Session on Breastfeeding on 6th August 2025 at 8:00 AM.
We were honored by the gracious presence of Assistant Governor Rtn. Binita Hada, and deeply grateful for the active support of both the Rotaract Club of Pashupati Kathmandu and the Rotaract Club of Pashupati Nepal Law Campus. The event was further enriched by the presence of their Presidents, Rtr. Annu Kafle and Rtr. Ashish Sapkota, respectively.
The counselling session was skillfully facilitated by Rtn. Dr. Binod Dangal and Rtn. Dr. Archana KC, who provided valuable guidance on breastfeeding practices and maternal health.
This impactful initiative aimed to educate and empower 30 breastfeeding mothers from the local community, identified with the assistance of the Ward Office. As part of our commitment to maternal and child health, fresh fruits and maternal gowns were distributed to all participants.
Together, let us continue to advocate for breastfeeding awareness and nurture a healthier future for mothers and children.
